Lake Louise

About an hour from Banff is Lake Louise.
According to a few sources and the all-knowing wikipedia, the striking color of the water comes from rock flour carried into the lake by melt-water from the glaciers that overlook the lake.

The lake is fed by glaciers so the water is very cold. I talked myself into submerging one (very pale) foot.
Meg and Lindsey were brave enough to put two in.We were all very proud of ourselves until this happened...Yes, two people walked up, stripped down and jumped in. They must have been visiting from the North Pole.
