DC Trip 1

Earlier this month I was sent to DC for a conference. I was lucky enough to sneak in some fun time with Jay. Here he is crouching down about 2 feet so we can fit in the same picture.
I have to give him credit. He is talented in the self-portrait department. Clearly I do not share that same talent. I tried to get the Washington Monument behind me. Not so much. But I did get the reflection so can I have partial credit or at least a sticker for good effort?

Luckily everyone was swapping picture taking duties at the Lincoln Memorial.
Hey Abe! I bet you wish that was a recliner or massage chair by now.
Connecticut and Massachusetts, together like Kel and Shawn. Corny!

Office of Thrift Supervision

I saw this while walking in DC. I stopped dead in my tracks. Suddenly it all made sense, my Dad is a secret agent for the Office of Thrift Supervision.

Happy St. Pat's!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I was inspired to make my finest culinary creations to date!

Yup, those are mini shamrocks on the edge.
Check out the cookies. Faboosh, if I don't say so myself!
Guess what? They were pretty darn yummy too.
If that doesn't put you in the mood, this certainly will...

Expert Advice

I have some expert advice to share.

Do not leave your sunroof cracked open for a snowstorm.

Take it from me, an expert with snow in her car and a wet tush.
