Last month, we took a trip to Franconia Notch in NH. It was a great trip and only a few hours away from Boston. Here's a few shots of the covered bridge in "down town" Littleton.

Okay, this is when we started to get curious. Look at the picture below and find the death door (left side, middle). There's a door that leads you straight outside for when you're really, really desperate for some fresh air.
We went to the building to take a closer look. Do you think this is the classic first day at work joke for all of Littleton? Watch your step!
Here's the view driving into Franconia Notch from the north. The clouds were tumbling over the mountains and filling the valley.
On our way to the tram up the mountain. If you enlarge this picture you should be able to see the wires. The mountain does not end where those clouds are. That's just the very beginning.

Boarding the tram. During the ski season, the tram is packed with skiers and boarders. It must smell delightful in there.
The views from the tram was gorgeous. On a clear day, you can see Mount Washington.

July 4th (2)
Over the 4th weekend, we enjoyed dinner with the Jennings and I papparazzied my buddy Ty again.

Here's Rob appropriately giving bunny ears to Tyler.
Monkey face. Can you tell they're father and son?
I can just imagine his future yearbook pictures. Priceless.
Poor Katy was trying to take a nice picture with Ty and he was still monkeying around.

The next day we took a trip to Provincetown. I love P-town!

There is an absolute must do while in town. You must devour a malassada from The Provincetown Portuguese Bakery. They are delicious and absolutely heavenly. I'm sure those giant pieces of fried dough are healthy too!

July 4th (1)
We spent he 4th of July on the Cape and it was great. We went to the parade and it was big time. Here are Ty and Jennie making their grand entrance. They should have been in the parade!

Aunt Kit, Katy and Mom waiting for the action to begin.
Pat and Shawn were caught red-handed. They tried to sneak out and get donuts for themselves. But their planning was overheard, so we all got donuts. Niiiiiice!
There were some fabulous dream vehicles in the parade. My favorites are the pink VW bug and the Defender. Here are some of the highlights.
